Thanks Y'all; KW.com Does Good!! a few weeks ago. Our member DonnaWisdom came on and asked if anyone was close to a gift card, she was generously giving away some of her points. I said that I was 10 K away, so it might be best to donate to other others who are much closer to their goal. Yet, she gave me exactly that much! in the next few minutes Catalina D , Orangeapple, Barbrandy, Miro 2019 ,KanKan, Gammy of Two and Fireball, all generously donated points, too!. I said I was going to use the gift cards to buy a Samsung tablet to donate to a benefit, for the little brother of one of my best friends since second grade, who is battling cancer. All of you listed above chimed in, and also donated generously, to this idea. Just wanted to let you all know we had the benefit today. Lots of wonderful donated food, music, and some great auction items, including the Samsung tablet that I was able to buy with gc's won here. The donations/ bids raised almost $400 for this item, and the benefit was a great success! so just wanted to let you all know that I appreciate you very much. we may fuss and fight sometime, but when the chips are down, we are there for each other, and others!

I'm happy to hear the benefit was a success, and my prayers are with your best friend's brother who is battling cancer.

CatalinaD : Thanks, Y'all! They have backed off on some of his meds, and he was able to enjoy the event today. He is such a nice guy who adores his wife of 35 years, his daughters ,and grands. They raised a good amount of money, and this will Really help with all of the expenses they face. Thanks again!!
Joe : I had saved my gc's for awhile, and was going to get a nice kid's bike to donate. With the extra points given by KWC members,and the cards earned, I was able to get the tablet. This is why I love this group

LittleTexas : So glad you reached your goal. And yes, when it comes time to giving for others this community here on KDC truly comes through every time. No matter which side of the aisle you are on if someone here needs something, we are all ready to donate to it.
