Ridiculous. Paxton is afraid of his own criminality as well as Talarico's intelligence sending him into a tailspin.

Last good debate was Kennedy/Nixon. Downhill ever since.

I just looked it up.During the last general election, the senators debated October 15th. The Governor and his challenger debated September 30th.I'm sure they will debate. There is plenty time to schedule it. They didn't do it this early last time either. What's the rush?Texas hasn't had a lieutenant governor debate since 2014 so I doubt we'll see one of those.
