Sure they beat a rookie QB, but he's gonna be a good one. I like Texans new Coach too !

Offense looks good....Defense looks good....

Sure, the Jags are a rebuilding team too....But they are division rivals....

I'm going to say that I've been "impressed" with this group so far, preseason included...They may surprise a bunch of people....

On the offense, QB decisions appear to be "sharp"....He knows where to go with the ball...And has that "evasive" ability like "what's-his-face" we had last year....A nice little running game too, not "vanilla" like they've had in the past....And so far I've really liked the play-calling....And got to give a shout out to the Offensive Line which isn't allowing their QB to taste dirt much AND they're opening those holes for the run....Texans have had some nice run bursts....

On the defense, love the new secondary attitude...In the past it's been "just make sure you make the tackle"....This year, so far, it looks like it's "if the ball is in the air IT'S MINE!"....And you can tell the secondary is playing as its own team-within-a-team like it should helping each other out....Again, I'm liking the play-calling here also....Some concerns about run defense, especially up the middle but they're not allowing it to be a consistent problem....

Anyhow, still early in the season....Their toughest opponents are coming soon....I'm pleasantly surprised with this game because I thought they'd look much worse....

3 weeks and the crowd will be calling for Watson. And they should. Management is being being buttheads about this. Just get over it and play him. Possible Super Bowl if they do. Maybe 6 wins if they don't.

@K5TBD : he doesn't want to play here anymore. After his questionable off field activities, it appears management is fine with his decision. Based on today's nfl results, the giants, falcons or bears may soon be desperate enough to meet the Texans trade demands.

I was also impressed with the Texans today.

Good play all around. After the came Brandon Cooks gave the Head Coach the game ball. Rightfully so...I think we are going to see positive things from this team this year.

Watson, OBrien, and unfortunately Watt last year showed so much negativity. That is gone. Are we a super bowl contender? No way. But I think we are on the right track moving forward.

So the faster we can get rid of Watson, the better. The team is asking waaaaay too much for him right now. I think as the season goes on, some teams will find themselves desperate for a decent qb. November 2nd is the trade deadline. Hopefully we can get rid of him and get a lot of high draft picks and maybe a few proven good Oline men.

@PedroDePacas : Decent QB?? He is way more than decent. Give him a decent o-line, good running backs and a good head coach, and he is going to win more than Super Bowl.
The only negativity he show was when management would not listen to him when he suggested a head coach and went with an unproven guy. They also traded all his weapons and that would **** any QB off.
And when they prove all these females accusing him of this crap, are all lying, money grabbing…….well I won't say what they are. I just hope they all get long jail terms for maybe ruining, or at least slowing down his career. He has done an awesome job of keeping a lid on his anger.
Wherever he ends up, I hope he comes back here and shows the Texans management what a huge mistake they made. Probably the only time I will root against them.

@K5TBD : he was **** about the hiring of the gm, not the coach, but mainly he was **** because the mega contract didn't grant him mega diva privileges from ownership as well.

I think most do not assume he is guilty of any crimes, only of opening up a Costco size can of ******* decision making that basically ruined his short term marketability that may linger for several years.
