(I hope this works, I accidentally deleted the email with the tracking number)

It is quite frustrating trying to get to an actual live customer service person anymore. There are endless buttons to push, and questions to answer, when all you want is to get some actual help. Well it is time to get directly to that help. Follow this tutorial to get to a human UPS customer service representative fast.

1. Dial... 1-800-742-5877

2. When the system starts asking you questions, press "0".

3. Once it starts talking again, press "0" again.

4. That's it. No 10 prompts or dozens of questions, just two little buttons.

5. You should now be transferred to customer service. 4951

With a lot of the voice applications, (I work on call center voice platforms), there's usually a default "tries" setting, and with enough invalid responses, you'll get sent to a default. If I'm calling somewhere, and need to speak to a live body, I'll listen to the first menu options, (to hear if it's a touch-tone app, or voice recognition), and either keep saying "representative" or will keep pressing 0, until it defaults me to someone. 4951

Humans are mostly worthless when it comes to customer service, Id rather talk to the machine.

@ZMAN : This. I do everything possible to AVOID talking to humans. Sometimes, I'll accidentally get transferred to a human.......and I hang up.

I can take care of almost all issues online with most big companies. Last thing I want to do is talk to some drone in a call center who hates their job and couldn't give 2 ****s about me or my problem. 4951

AVOID talking to humans

@imadrummer2k : Me too. It really pisses me off when you MUST talk to someone to cancel something. No, you are NOT going to change my mind. 4951

I hate to talk to UPS overseas call centers. You are on hold forever. No results are obtained. 4951

@Weathergirl5 : I dislike talking to computers as well, but at least it's almost understandable, especially when call centers a farmed out to other countries lol. Just spent 30min with a customer service rep from AT&T. Barely understood her. 4951
