James Talarico has taken a nearly two-week break from the campaign trail amid the final push before the midterms. And this really IS the final push and everyone else is hitting the campaign trail hot and heavy.
His campaign said he's recovering from the flu. But heck , what 37 YO needs two weeks for that? I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it really is starting to look off.

MissAmericanPie : The first day he missed, was Sep 30th...so today is day 10 (so, a full 4 days shorter than two weeks...) Nine days down for a flu is not that surprising...if it goes past two weeks, though, I'd start to get nervous.

UptownGirl : possibly but I feel that Talarico will win by lack of Republican enthusiasm. But I think Abbott will win. I also feel that all the redistricting is not going to payoff for the Republicans in Texas
