buffaloglenn : I would guess northpark, they finally looked like they were back to work on the Kingwood side for 494 this morning(Im desperate for the slanted hump on the outbound to go away, its always harrowing in the morning as people are tired and forget its there)
MissAmericanPie : It pretty much doesn't go down, except when someone digging somewhere cuts a fiber line... Given the extent of the outage, I bet a line was cut somewhere along Northpark or near 59.

rusbro1 : Ours was out for about a half an hour, but it is back now. It looks like it affected all areas of KW. It is unusual for Tachus, but I feel that they did a great job getting it back up and working again so quickly.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : That sounds like a problem with either their modem, or the line connected to your house. Definitely call them; they are good at troubleshooting and fixing problems.
buffaloglenn : I will. I've been so busy and just haven't had time but it's getting to the point where I'm kinda wondering if I could change to someone else besides Suddenstinck. I'll try to get it fixed before I cut them off!

MissAmericanPie : I know it's not the first time, and won't be the last. They have buried fiber lines that run along the freeway, and come into Kingwood from that direction. Any time some excavator or backhoe guy starts digging over there, they can cut a line. But their infrastructure within Kingwood is new, and far more reliable than anyone else.« Back to Chat
