An "all" tab would be nice. I already know which posts to skip based on the name of the poster and the subject heading. Do not want to put anybody on the "official" ignore list because even the people I consider to be idiots occasionally make a funny post.And if a Friday funnies post starts off with a kingwood meme, is it a local or general. And suppose it is Houston related? Is that still considered local? What about Texas? Just how close to the center of Kingwood does it have to be to be considered "local"?

SarcasmWins : Great questions. And if a random post ends up in LOCAL, then who moves it out? Won't the general focus be on Local Topics vs Chatter like Wordle results, birthdays, flower pics and such? How will they stay separated?I see why the separation but "will it take" is my question. Couldn't someone just mask their Wordle brag with a tag because they played in Kingwood to get past the wall? Also, anniversary and birthday wishes, and "look at my flowers" could go both ways, as chatter and also local because of being KDC member related, member garden related? What is the plan to make that distinction? People are quite resourceful when it comes to skirting known guidelines and rules.

Joe : Oh good. I don't want to complain but so far it's a lot slower and I don't like the separation. Except, with the FL AND politics divided, DDVV now has his own section and it's isolated with almost just his stuff. Lol

donnatella : AI currently categorizes almost all local threads automatically. It has a database of 60-ish keywords that help steer it as to what is local and what is not.donnatella : I'll just tell people to cut it out if I have to move stuff often. So far, threads have been getting categorized as local for a long time, and it's usually correct.

This forum is about to get too complicated for us ol' folks!
Maybe we just need yet another "tab" to select "old version" - "new version".I think someone needs to take Joe to happy hour somewhere so he'll quit touching stuff.

Joe : Just for feedback's sake, I kinda preferred when everything was at the top on mobile. 😅 I see the vibe you're going for, very Facebook/IG/Twitter/TikTok everything at the bottom energy, but it doesn't feel like KDC to be super honest. I'll get used to it. I do kind of really hate the tabs, though. Again, for feedback's sake. 😁
