Store clerk shot and killed in Humble.

Yeah, chasing them over chips was just a little bit dumb. Wonder what really prompted it. Were they repeat thieves? They say he showed a gun first and plead self defence. We will never know the whole story.

mellen : That clerk erred when he left his store and chased the thief. Should have called 911, had a camera on the customers at the checkout and stayed in the store. A $3.99 bag of chips is a cheap price of a life.

PeterBee : Police station (HCSO, DPS, PCT 4) is less than 2 minutes from this gas station on Will Clayton.

eighteen : I have to believe those 2 guys were laughing, taunting. The Clerk was probably furious. We dont know the whole story....YET. stay tuned

eighteen : The clerk should have called 911 after the robbery and stayed put. He took a knife to a gun fight. He wasnt a police officer, let the police handle it.

I recall a guy getting gunned down at the Chuck E cheese (he perished). Same guy went and shot more people after that.

SmokeableForest : Humble police station is less than 2 minutes from Chuck E Cheese.

The guy that got killed was getting the cake for his kids b-day party. The shooter was allegedly going the wrong way in the P-lot and almost hit the victim.

While I am not sure where each of you shop for groceries - our local HEB now has security that drives around the parking lot….. my how far we have come since post Harvey recovery and the apartments filling back up / being built. Just like Atascosita post all the apartments being built on WLH.
