Some homes definitely need sprucing up. Some of those that need to do this seem to be able to put out Christmas decorations.

KrazyKatze :
I wasn't referring to you

Socratease : First, so very sorry for your ordeal. 😕 For certain crime has been around a long time - I can remember the four high school girl bandits……little armed robbers. I've been burglarized twice. The last time crime touched me was to the tune of a 50k bank jugging. Poof, gone. There have been four such juggings in this immediate area since mine not quite two years ago. Most recent about a mile from my home. Old guy was followed to his home and beaten up for his bank withdrawal. Urban expansion, population explosion, street begging and thug coddling mentality have only served to make it worse, so my point is things ARE worse today for these reasons and more. I apologize if I inferred Kingwood was once all rainbows and unicorns. ♥️

Attend your HOA meetings. I have served on my Board for over 30 years. It is my small way to give something back for getting to live in such a great neighborhood. When you get to know those who volunteer, you will realize they are not monsters trying to make life difficult, but individuals who care about where we live.

Mind your own buisness

Socratease :
Just curious, which grocery store do you recall being where Ace is now 20 years ago?

KrazyKatze :
When someone follows you after leaving the bank (or ATM) then robs you

FreebyrdII :
I think it was a Randall's. Overpriced.
