I would also definitely advise to look for something else while you are still currently employed. It's always a better idea to have something lined up before you leave a job. I was looking while I was employed at my last job, but was laid off before I was able to secure something else.

In your free time look on Indeed or other job posting sites. Apply to anything that sounds fun or interesting. You might be surprised at what will come your way!

If I was you I would make a list of your wants & needs. Don't just throw something down, Really put thought into what you need to cover your bills & extra activities. Where do you want to be in 5-10 years, do you want retirement, health insurance, 401K, vacation time etc. Then
start looking and applying.

I was on staying there to a form of income to get stabilized and it was close by. The days are so long there.
I would not stay in that job, but I would line up a better job, before I left the boring one.
Some say the job market is bad yet honestly, I find it very strong! Not sure your age but the railroads are always hiring (Union Pacific Railroad & BNSF) which tons of women work for & you can have an incredible life experience!
In my working days, I would stay employed while looking for something better. Low salary is better than no salary.

I just helped someone get a job. He has a construction / clean up job. Between weather and ice issues the owner has less work. Also the person I know was out sick for 3 weeks. (Shingles) The new job guarantees 40 hours with about 5-10 with OT. The pay is low. Entry level. He is not happy, but it beats Uber and waiting for his previous boss to call him back. Bills
Still need to get paid.
