The state's lawsuit against the Triple PG sand mine has been delayed again. At the earliest, the trial will begin seven years after the AG started it. That's bad enough, but meanwhile, problems at the Porter mine are now worse than when the lawsuit started. See pics and details.

Maybe I'm a little naive, but why can't the State of TX shut this operation down given the seriousness of the violations?
BTW, what's a cardiologist doing in the sand mine business?
