Sooo, does any have suggestions for a dog sitter for labor day weekend? My dog sitters aren't responding. I just want them to visit my house not spend the night or anything….

Sharing with someone who may have an opening. I will let you know
My teenage/high school daughter is available; she is experienced in dog/pet sitting. We have dogs (horses, rabbits, and chickens in the past), and we will be home LDW. Contact me if you still need help.
A nice reminder that Labor Day Weekend is quickly approaching, my daughter usually goes somewhere and I am usually the dog sitter but I wouldn't have it any other way. It makes my heart so happy when she pulls up with them and opens her door just as I open mine and they jump out and without any coaxing they come happily bounding up to my front door right on inside and just make themselves to home. My calendar is usually clear and I guess she and they know that granny is watching them for awhile.

What's the going rate nowadays for petsitters? I remember someone in my neighborhood quoted me $40/visit x 3 visits a day = $120/day! And she was within walking distance…and this was not a holiday.

that sounds reasonable; our sitter also brought in mail, and just made sure everything was fine in the house, which was nice, too
#msg5986839Luv2eatsushi : Per visit or per day?
I am looking for a dog sitter in their home who also has dogs. My mini berner doodle, female is 8 years old, 45 lbs., potty trained, very sociable., & has had all her shots. Time frame is September or October for approximately 9 days. Area can be in Atascocita or Kingwood.
