Cleburne's is very good. IF you like Luby's you will like this place even more. Cafeteria style but more upscale than Luby's.

Perú Cafe Express! We love the food there. If you like ceviche there's is the best! It's on the 59 northbound feeder down by the Lakewood Church.

My son is coming to Houston this weekend for a business trip and I have a small window of time to get together with him Sunday afternoon before he flies home again. I'll be picking him up at the Doubletree Hilton at Greenway Plaza and would like to take him somewhere to eat before dropping him off at the airport. This is also his 30th birthday weekend. Can anyone recommend a good place to eat in that area for a mid afternoon meal?

Thank y'all for all your restaurant recommendations!! We ended up eating at Pappa's in Humble as my son was late wrapping up his work and we wanted to be close to the airport. It was great seeing him and the food was great as always.
