Did someone say Family Time is near KW now? Gawd I hope not! People are using it as a dumping ground currently- well not currently even when it was open they used it as a dumping ground. Last thing we need. Ugh trashy trashy.

Ruger5 : It was me. I made the mistake of going in there and the workers were talking about moving the shop to KW. I sure hope they are wrong!

TheStig : Heavens no, had to pull over to keep my new FB market place purchase glass from shatteringâ€¦..I nearly threw up at what my lil beady eyes were spying. I had heard this place had moved near KW â€¦..pray I heard wrong! I hate trash in my back yardâ€¦..don't you? Here's my new find. Only 20 bucks

It's my favorite local charity. They provide crisis and counseling services based on income levels and operate the only women's shelter in this area.

Pals for Pooches is now in New Caney, in the big strip center with the hardware store and Fat Boy's Cafe there. Near Rusty Buckle BBQ. When they moved from 494 they really organized and cleaned up! I take clothing, etc there, as they support animals in need. I buy books there, often!

teatime : We take ours to New Horizons in New Caney. We pull up and pop the hatch on the back and the people come out and take our stuff. So either there or HAMM in Humble and they do the same.

My guess is people dump stuff there at night and the store has to pay someone to haul the junk away. I use to see couches next to clothing donation boxes as well. And the couches would get rained on, real mess

cbear : Yesâ€¦I used to donate to GW - but only ten cents of every dollar donated goes to the needy. That is evil when 100% of every dollar they take in is donated.

Ruger5 : I was thinking that Fmily Time was the shop just past the apartment complex on NP and 494. When we first moved my daughter and I went in that one and found some white things for the buffet/hutch that had been in her garage for years because she didn't have anywhere for it. It was a nice organized shop and very clean. My hubby and I went in a year or so ago and it was a total wreck. Stuff thrown everywhere. Haven't been lately so don't know if it is bad like it was.

Nuisance : I think that place was a dog resale shop. I loved it
