don't let him jump or any activity that can reopen the sutures. Cone or inflatable for licking. To be honest, we had no luck with our inflatable. The protective suits are good as well. Vet techs will help getting him into the car. Beach towel idea is awesome. Also, if he's very active now, I would ask for sedatives for the first week.
