A small army of volunteers turned out this morning to attack more gnarly growths of vines along Kingwood Drive and have some fun. See the pics of Median Madness: Round 6.

I like vines. It dampens oncoming lights at night and provides a bit of barrier between the lanes, maybe preventing head on collisions.
FluffyCat reacted THANK YOU...........everyone for helping........huge success!!!
According to arborists........the vines climbing on trees take steal the nutrients the trees need for health/growth.
Vines have been identified as 'parasites'.........those growing on trees, not good. But, ok ,for vines growing on the ground.
wmubronco : I wonder how they make it in the wild?
