cbear : he needs to send these pics to his landlord certified letterand give him 30 days to fix it and tell him if not, he will be moving out. He does need to call someone from the channel news and let them come and look at this. This fails then tell him to take his landlord to civil court. It cost about $100 but you would be surprised at how the judges there in humble are so fair .

cbear I didn't realize Wayne Dolcefino was still around. Our kids were born in the hospital on the same day. 13 boys and 1 girl (was his) were born which was a very busy day for them. They did a segment on ABC. Good luck with the aparment and getting it resolved! Make sure your son documents all his request and responses. Also do they sell do it at home mold test? Might have him do one.

cbear : I would def email one of the local TV stations, too. Bill Spencer does "Spencer Solves It" on CH 2, KPRC. He really gets results! Each tv station has a consumer reporter, so check on their FB pages or station websites. Send the pics and history of Trying to get it resolved.

cbear : Yes. Houston Apartment Association, I used them to get a deposit back years ago. News Channels. Anyone and everyone. Is there anything in the lease that states he can break it with no consequences. Sorry. I haven't read all the posts on here yet.

cbear : Does he know if it's in other apartments? There's a new task force that hasn't formed yet but they are forming in Houston that you will be able to call to get your apartment inspected.
