SJRA is starting a study to see whether coordinating releases from Lakes Houston and Conroe will reduce flood risk. Here's your chance to talk to the people doing the study. Humble Civic Center, March 5, 6-8. See all the details.

Predicting watershed rains and feeding the results into a computer program to determine timing and flowrates for dam releases would be very helpful to avoid flooding. Bob, thanks for the updates. Great effort on your part.

Isn't this all just fluid dynamics and flow rates? I'm not an engineer but it just makes sense to open valve x and then adjust valve y based on flow from x and external factors between valve x and y. 🤷 Thank you for continuing to shine the spotlight on these flood issues raising awareness and accountability.
