Brookside as served our family needs well however we have no experience with Darst or Kingwood funeral homes. Any recommendations?Kittle : We cremated my Daddy at Darst. Nothing but great things to say. As horrible that experience can be, it was a beautiful ending. ?❤️

We have mausoleum drawers at Brookside where everyone in my hubs family is at but I have been to other services there in the last year and was not impressed. I called both Kingwood and Rosewood and they indicated you could have services at their places and then have ashes taken to Brookside which is probably what we will do.

I had experience with Kingwood funeral home recently. They are woman managed and their attention to detail and care were a godsend. They have a beautiful room for the service, a wonderful sound system, and a side suite for the reception. They have very nice packages that I thought were reasonable that included everything that was needed.

We used Brookside for my mom's funeral and they were fantastic to del with and the chapels are so pretty. A friend was cremated 2 yrs ago and it was an easy process.

Any recommendations?Kittle : We used Darst for cremation when my MIL passed away 2 or so years ago. It was $2200. When my friends hubby passed she used McNutt funeral Home in Conroe. The price for cremation was all most half. I'll use McNutt next time.

I had an excellent experience with Darst.

Kittle : My dad and I used Rosewood when my mother died. He did not want cremation for my mother. Rosewood was very professional and we saved money by using Houston Casket Company for a vault and Rosewood was accommodating to the savings. I was proud of my elderly dad for going online and finding twin plots for way less than the currant charge. A man in California had a couple of plots he was selling because of divorce. My poor daddy looked over the graves afterward and said, " This is where I will spend eternity." No, Daddy, you are in heaven, now. ❤️ Unfortunately, burials are so expensive!
