KanKan : Chik Wei was my cardiologist until he retired. Dr. KK did my second aortic valve replacement in 2023 and is my cardiologist now.
Never knew I'd have to carry a card with me for these so found that to be interesting.
KanKan : I'm glad all went well for you!
KanKan : Good for you honey. The physicians and staff there ARE great! Dr. Ganim also did my procedure. I didn't need any stints but told an every 6 month check up is recommended. So I see Dr. Lingle there every 6 months.
KanKan : I'm glad to hear your procedure went well, and that you are alright. It's also good to see a recommendation for this place, it could be helpful information in the future.
SandyKnee : It's a pamphlet they gave me from the stent manufacturer. Then I think they put the labels from the stents on it that say what size they are and lot numbers with a QR code. Also, it has a sticker with my name and the doctor's name and date they were done. This is a picture of the back of the card, stickers are on the other side.
luannski : I'll look into the bracelets. Never thought about those. Yes, a blood thinner, Plavix. Not thrilled about it.
KanKan : Plan on getting a pillow for between your knees and arms for sleeping or you will wake up with black and blue marks if your a side sleeper.
