Seeking reviews for the Jaxon Apartments

Tell them to look at Marquis of Kingwood, for a couple of reasons:
low crime profile
located in a neighborhood, and not right off of the road, as the Jaxon is. This means less crime, since they are not 'easy access' to stop/rob/run.
Great area for walking, running, dog walking. Nice park nearby.
Renovated a few years ago, they have granite counter tops, washer and dryer in the apartment, and nice patio.
Very close to HEB, Kroger.

LittleTexas : That is where my DD lived 2 different times. First her own 1 Br and then Fiancee with 2 Br. Great place! Maintenance is phenomenal. I concur on the Marquis.

I lived at the Marquis apartments for 7 years...always like that complex.

anonymous : Don't do it. Several young adult kids of my friends have lived there…….now known as a bad hood. Drunkin' parking lot brawls …..the works.One brawl made the grizzly.

I knew there were reported incidents, thanks. Lots of late night parking lot antics, at the Jaxon; often an invitation for using firearms to 'solve' things. Never good.

I saw it, and I completely agree! lots without jobs, and a Lot of free time on their hands.

I second the Marquis. They are currently running soecials too. I would stay away from Jaxon.

Son was at the Jaxon for a year. Parking lot gate rarely worked so not secure. Hallways reek of pot. Office rarely open. Entire first floor flooded during Harvey. Power was out a couple weeks. No effort was made to contain mold which had reached second floor. I think steer clear.

Yep the marquee. We lived there when it was the preserve. Had a 3bd end unit, so only two floors. I had a huge L shaped patio and woods on two sides. A short walk around the corner to the pool. Always felt safe.

My parents moved into the Jaxon & were very excited. After moving in they were very disappointed that no matter what their cell phones wouldn't pick up a signal due to the parking garage & the way buildings were built. Even with a Signle booster they wouldn't work.
They also felt the property upkeep was very poorly maintained & didn't care for people putting unwanted items on their balconies for everyone to see. There are much nicer apartments in Kingwood that offer better prices, amenities etc.
My parents ended up moving across the street to Harbor Cove & their unit backs up to the forest which they love with all the wildlife. The property is very quiet and maintained nicely. They have a awesome dog park & resort style pool that is a great place to get cooled off at in the Texas heat. Numerous bbq pits throughout the property & at the pool. The management team is incredibly helpful & professional.
Not trying to discourage you but they should really look at other properties before the Jaxon… Happy Hunting 😎
