>> why is it some parents sit there and do nothing while their brats ruin everyone elses lunch?

and then they get mad at me when I ask them to shut their little hellion up

PedroDePacas:

Go cry me a river. They are paying customers just like you. Maybe eat at a fancy restaurant or shut your pie hole!

DVaz:

Sounds like my original post hit home. Do you have a problem controlling your little ones or do they control you? Maybe consider that it is rude to have your kids screaming and yelling while people are trying to have dinner.

And for the record, I eat at places both expensive and inexpensive. You cant put a price tag on manners and common courtesy.

I don't have any kids, sorry to disappoint you. 4951

So please explain to all of this why you feel it's okay to have little kids running around screaming and yelling. Why do you think we need to be the recipients of all that noise?

I hate parents who are on planes and allow their children to kid the backs of the seats or stick their hands through the seats. It's bad enough about the whining and crying...I hate adults on the planes who shove their feet through the seats too. I feel like I am getting set up to be the next passenger to be thrown off the plane video.

No it's when the flight attendants come around with the meal service and offer the choice of an omelet or pancakes and the parents choose the sugar-filled pancakes. At that point I normally head for the galley and ask for a drink. 4951

I don't think anyone is insensitive to a baby crying. That's not controllable other than taking them outside until they calm down but a 2-6 year old running around a restaurant screaming and acting a fool? They know better, or should.

I've never been on a long flight with one.... 4951

So please explain to all of this why you feel it's okay to have group of adults around screaming and yelling...worse when they're drunk. Why do you think we need to be the recipients of all that noise?

I changed the question around. Noisy adults are worse than kids, that's for sure.

I'll take loud kids before loud adults any day of the week.. The kids don't know any better and can be taught. The adults do know better and don't give a crap about others.

If I am out in public and there is an adult making a ruckus, I can take that adult out and kick his ***. I can't touch a kid. 4951

Actually, hearing you do not have children is the opposite of a disappointment to me.
