Scenario for debate (4th try)

newgranny2020 : How is this FL material? I trimmed it to be generic enough for general chat discussion, which was my ultimate goal. I was referencing behavior not the FB topic causing them to act out. That subject matter/topic was irrelevant to the point I was making. What I posted in this thread passed the test of our new AI bot moderator. I did leave the other thread as is for FL purposes, so there are two versions. Also, Joe changed the set up here, getting rid of the separate FL forum, and creating an on/off switch to filter out unwanted discussions. If the switch is not working for you, that's a discussion to have with Joe. It's not my forum, and I didn't hire the AI moderator and I didn't make the recent changes.

Chiza : I agree. I don't get acting a fool in front of what is, in essence, they're patrons??
I know we are living in a time where everyone is in everyone's face with SM but people are still judging you by your actions, just like always. If you're showing a lack of wisdom, it's not going to bode well for you.

I can't identify your purpose with this discussion.

If it doesn't make sense to you, that's okay. Not every post is for everyone.

I would be out; business and very personal opinions, shoved down the throats of others, do not make good bedfellows! Think I would be uncomfortable in a social setting of any kind ( meeting, get together), as I would be trying to reign myself in, if they began this kind of talk, with me there. Treat it as you would if anyone else was offensive to you (me too!)in this way, and quietly avoid. Were they to contact me directly and ask why I had created distance, then They opened that door, and I would be honest, as to why, in a few, quiet words.
