Scenario for debate (4th try)

If you followed a group, business, etc. on another social media platform, and witnessed them take an extreme view, pouncing on people for their opposing views, would that sway you from doing business with them, attending their events, etc. or would you go on, business as usual?

I've witnessed that, first hand, over the last several months, and am really struggling with continuing my support of them. Yes, they are local, and yes, they depend on traffic to "stay in business" so to speak. Common sense would, one would hope, lead them to stay out of heated and emotional debates, but apparently it's the hill that opt to die on, given their behavior. Not at all happy to see them even turn on "friends" in an effort to shout down the opposition. I have personally hidden them on other platforms, but I still see their attacks on mutual friends postings.

What say you? Support or speak with your absence…

I'm OK with choosing not to spend your money in places where it'll ultimately support things or voices you don't want to support, even if those things are tangential to the actual product or service being offered.

In business I try to stay pol neutral, however, when I see bad behavior online, it makes me want to stay away from them and remove my support.

RolloTomaso : This is not a bricks and mortar business. More along the lines of entertainment. They book appearances then encourage the public to come see them. They either don't realize they are hurting their brand or they don't care.

I walk donnatella, I don't go out enough to actually make a difference. But I believe in being neutral when being in that sort of business.

No...I won't do business with them, online or brick and mortar. I could name a few businesses currently, but I don't want to go to KDC jail!

donnatella : if it's a business I truly want to support, I'd confront them with what I see. Perhaps they don't realize what they're doing. Tell them, in your own words and if they don't respect your opinion, well then, perhaps it's a business not worth your support.

donnatella : I'm becoming quickly disenchanted with the frequency of "fast lane" topics appearing on Kingwood.com being thrown at us lately. About to leave.
