I'm almost ashamed to admit I've never been inside that Luby's, or any Luby's for that matter. Don't judge me to harshly please!
Ticagro, I was not impressed, it could have been that location, but I haven't tried again....anywhere. No judgement from me!

OK. I eat Luby's at least twice a month because my boss loves it. I'm so over it. I wish I could find something there that I love, but all I taste is salt. The hamburger steak is edible, and I like the fried fish but I never want a fried meal for lunch on a workday.
Capybara : I used to have one of those bosses who liked Luby's too. We always recommended the the mushroom turkey chopped steak to the newbies. Less fat than the regular stuff, but still high sodium.
asasolid2r : Thanks for the tip! I forgive you for making fun of me! Ha! Ha!
muffy : it's was more a nod of appreciation. We need more good humor around here. Intentional or unintentional both count.
Capybara : that's too bad. There are copycat recipes galore but it makes too much for 2 people. When the family gets together, it usually makes an appearance. Has a bit of surprising heat! « Back to Chat
