muffy : I had a roast beef Po boy in 1978 when we were in Tickfaw, LA and I have never forgotten it, tried to duplicate and have never had a better one. It was that good.

Donnawisdom : I make them once in a while. I just don't care for too much sauce on anything, just ruins the look and the flavor to me.

chasinghosts : I lived around the corner from a store named Weavers that was owned by my friend's parents. They served the best po boys! They had the traditional roast beef /debris, gravy and dressed with Mayo, lettuce, tomato and pickle. And definitely authentic French bread. Any ingredient missing could keep this sandwich from perfection.

muffy : I would really just be happy if I could find a real roast beef dinner down here or open faced roast beef. Not Tri tip, not brisket, but top round.
