#msg5921825Its funny that you started this thread- I was wondering this morning if anyone recalled a small cafe in the shopping center up front called The Demitasse ? It was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea and lunch with a friend. They offered a lovely soup trio with 3 little soups served in cute Demitasse cups. I would love a tea room with antique furnishings that serves quiches, soups, pastries, light sandwiches and good teas, coffee, wines.
La Madeleine have Fresh bread....French sticks Sourdough and Seven grain loaves......All good....and of course pastries and cakes!
..
Try La Madeleine or Trader Joe's..bread is good from both

#msg5921886UptownGirl : I'd love to convince the owners of The Foccacia Bakery to open somewhere closer to town center. Their sandwiches are freaking delicious but their current location is atrocious.
Great Harvest truly was great. There was a location on KWD near Chelsea's which closed. Years later Great Harvest opened where Fire Ctaft now is. We only have Great Harvest at the farmer's market.
The Demassi on Richmond in the Galleria area was great. It was buffet however their servers filled plates as in a cafeteria limiting exposure. The one in Humble is buffet and I just can't do buffets.
#msg5921795I'd like to see a Black Walnut and a Republic Grille.
