Restaurant Review - Kingwood Staple

I was meeting a friend for a last minute casual dinner and mentioned to them that I had not been to Skeeters in YEARS, but had thought about it, recently. We decided to go there and I cannot say I was disappointed. We each got a burger, one with onion rings and one with sweet potato fries. We also added an order of wings. All of our food was delicious and way too much food. The place was clean and pricing is good. The only complaint I had was that the sweet potato fries were on the soggy side, but the flavor was delicious so all of them were eaten. That reminds me, I have some wings waiting for me for lunch...

If you want some good food that is reasonably priced, that's a great place to go and it is kid friendly. They also have stuff like enchiladas and things of that nature. 4951

@ExBlue : I've only had their breakfast buffet and it's ok. We quit going when they jacked the buffet price up, costs me around $65 for 4...... little steep for the quality 4951

Skeeters is owned by the same family that owns Los Tios Mexican restaurant.

Aw man, I wish they'd open a Los Tios out here somewhere; they'd rule! 4951

My husband has always loved cheeseburgers and he loves the skeeter burger. I would always get their baked potato and its huge and has real bacon. They have taco Tuesday specials which is a good deal. Their salads are good too. They discount for seniors which is really nice. Skeeters is owned by the same family that owns Los Tios Mexican restaurant.

@teatime : knew the owner in college - Gary. (frat brother) Good guy. His 2 children are following in his footsteps. I think the kiddos have 3 restaurants now. 4951

Never had bad food at skeeters, not in ten years. Havent been in a long while though. Too many other choices now. This makes me wanrt to go back

I pretty much lived there when I lived in KW, 2-4 times a week, BCB's a week to go was a regular at my house. Was there last Sat morning for the BF buffet, then took my mom/family for dinner there in the eve same day.!My mom luvs the CB's, she thinks I'm really outdoing myself taking her there ðŸ˜€. Everything they have is good, their margaritas have gotten weaker and more expensive (kinda like everything is heading), but 10 yrs ago, you'd be hard pressed to find a better, stronger Marg., then add that they were $2 and yea, spent a lot of time there. Those kids running around bothered me none, lol, and as of late, tbh, I haven't noticed them, it's kinda mellowed from being the "let your kids run loose" place. 4951
