Walking distance to the river walk, Schilos is very good. They have the best homemade split pea soup and root beer. Tons of great sandwiches and German food. www.schilos.com/ 4951

NeenaC0629 : I don't think Mi Tierra is on the Riverwalk I think it's at the Plaza but it's a good place to eat. If you want Tex-Mex do not eat on the Riverwalk the food is overpriced and the food is horrible. Drive down or take an Uber to Mi Tierra well worth the ride but there is another place the owners of Mi Tierra own several blocks from Mi Tierra where the locals go and I think it's better in terms of quality and price. 4951

Riverwalk has become very commercial....Landrys, Saltgrass, Rainforest Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe....still nice place to be regardless.. 4951
