Recommendations on where to get my cat spayed and advice in general. She is 5, but I have only had her a little over a month. I have not done this with an older cat.

KingwoodNana : They say Texas litter control is the cheapest place. Take awhile to get the appointment. Call right away as it is a long wait.

KingwoodNana : Make sure to get a cone for her neck. One female cat got infected messing with her surgery site.

*Have them to blood tests to make sure there are no diseases, before vaccinations.
*Feed wet food, pate style, and skip heavy gravies. You can add some kibble once a day to help keep teeth clean, or offer dental treats.
*Lots of fresh water. Many prefer fountains with running water.
*Keep your cat indoors ( too many hazards outside and roaming cats with diseases),

Donnawisdom : It's faster to make the appointment online now days. We can usually get in with Lady the same or next day lately.
