Are you ready for April 8th?

Have you gotten your Solar Eclipse Glasses? We will have another solar eclipse on April 8th. I was caught off guard and had no clue it was happening last year. I was able to get some glasses but it was difficult on that day. So, here ya go, you have a little less than a month to get it together. I have solar glasses so I am ready!!!

billcherie2 : That is super cheap. Are they near the register or pharmacy, etc? I don't own any of those glasses but I'd love to grab a few pairs.

wrote about the glasses here, this past weekend, as I saw them marked down at Kroger. There were plenty, last Thursday. I did not grab a pair, and usually use the pinhole/paper method, to 'see" it. but for 2 bucks, you can always save them, til next time :D

Although the Houston area will see a 94% eclipse, my family has decided to drive to Leakey to see the eclipse. Leakey is in the path of totality so we'll see 100% eclipse. We've had this trip planned for a long time. We'll take a whole week to fish, explore the state parks, and perhaps drive a tank. So happy my sons and their families are going. Can't wait!

@JEM1234 : That sounds so fun!!! There are lots of nice parks there. Be sure to go to Lost Maples and Garner. Both are beautiful parks.
