jv339 : 100% agree, Magic Needle is your best bet. DO NOT trust Claire's or any kiosk selling earrings. Your chance of infections is high by allowing inexperienced people touching your ears with a piercing gun that has been used on who knows how many people before you. Go to professional piercers.

I just pushed some pearl studs through my four holes. I haven't tried my third holes yet. I just pulled them in and out a few days and they are fine. I hadn't worn them in many years.

My wife recently got hers repierced at Ulta. She has a low tolerance for pain and discomfort of any kind. I was surprised that she had nothing to complain about at any point after the piercing.

My elderly mom was so upset that her holes had closed. I took her to Magic Needle, which scared her to death when she saw it was a tattoo place! I convinced her to go in, and it was so nice inside and they were so sweet with her that she couldn't stop smiling all day and showing off her earrings!
