mutton : That would be a real shame, but how could you blame any sponsor for that choice. Who would want to open themselves up to that much scrutiny.

donnatella : Sponsors should be supporting the community. Have their names on posters and what not - their duty is done. and, if the lead is NFP - even better; write off.

I don't know. I'm the "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" generation.

If I remember correctly...the fireworks show in 2017 got moved to a differently location and there was a lot of heat from that. So Kingwood said they were going to do a separate show sometime in September to make up for it. But they couldn't do it because of Harvey.

All jokes though! Just don't want another hurricane lol .

Honestly i havent watched kw fireworks for years. One year they screwed the pooch and it was like eberything detonated at ground level all at once. Everyone moaned. I think they need some launch tubes to get some proper air on these puppies

The best memories of July 4th was when we were members of KWCC or just had the grill on with sparklers. It really wasn't about the fireworks. It was just having a good time with the family. The kids had a great time running around doing the events set up for members or in the front yard having the kids playing with friends. We safely enjoyed the day and didn't have to drive to and fro out of the area. I think some fireworks displays were better some years over others. We never left *****ing about it. Nor did I get on FB or KDC to admonish the event or event planners. I don't know why anyone complains about the fireworks. Big freaking whoopee. Be happy we have events set up in our community.

e : I have the most fun watching families on our street having the fun. We are a community and enjoy one another.
