Question about standing in line at Bush 4 hours ?

I've been wondering how solo travelers are doing this. Also travelers with small children/babies....elderly....or those unable to stand that long. Sounds like an awful situation!

I don't know how others do it- but coming back from GER in 2019- we stood in line in Germany customs to come back to US for over 2 hours. I had a severely sprained ankle. It was unpleasant- but I did it. Had water, a snack in my back pack, ankle was wrapped and a compression sock - and I just did it.
Right now I could do 3-4 hours if I had to- no injuries - I'd take water and maybe a snack and do exercises while standing in line. I have the bladder of a camel so I'd be ok w/out a bathroom break.
I seriously don't know how others in less than optimal shape are doing it

I was wondering the same thing about having to use the bathroom.

I usually just go while I am in the bush.

Many people simply cannot stand for four hours. Unfortunately travel is required for many jobs. Thankful to be retired.

I was wondering the same thing for people who are traveling solo or with small babies who have no one to help them.

Travel companions can save your spot! I would need a walker with one of those built in seats!🤯

This is why you must travel with a friend. You go to the bathroom and the other holds the place.
