billcherie2 : I don't know how others do it- but coming back from GER in 2019- we stood in line in Germany customs to come back to US for over 2 hours. I had a severely sprained ankle. It was unpleasant- but I did it. Had water, a snack in my back pack, ankle was wrapped and a compression sock - and I just did it. Right now I could do 3-4 hours if I had to- no injuries - I'd take water and maybe a snack and do exercises while standing in line. I have the bladder of a camel so I'd be ok w/out a bathroom break. I seriously don't know how others in less than optimal shape are doing it
@Labslady : That must have been difficult with your ancle in bad shape. I'm glad you got through it! I don't see how elderly are doing it. My friend had to walk at least a mile to get to the end of the line today.
