Pulled into the hippo burger parking lot on north park and it is covered in brown paper sheets of paper on the windows. Did they go out of business or remodeling? The manager there was such a sweet heart. I hope it is still doing well.

Just called the Humble location and they said it was closed and that if they reopen up that way it will not be in that location. Bummer. Yes, the manager was cool!

teatime : My DW went to lunch with her friends a few years ago and liked it. But it is difficult to access any of the retail centers along NP, especially during rush hour.

Noooooooo! We love the burgers there. IMO, the best in Kingwood. We stop regularly on the way in from work in the evenings and grab some for the family for dinner.

Darn it!
I really like Hippo Burger, I would get the Mushroom grilled chicken & some sweet potato fries.

I truly hope they reopen somewhere in Kingwood.

HappyDay2016 : we just ate there Friday. There was a leak in the roof, maybe they're having that repaired? I hope it is only temporary.

Hippo Burger is definitely closed. I've been told they will reopen in Kingwood but probably not until January of 2027. Sounded like the location they're looking at may not be become available until then.
