My wife, my mom, and my daughter were there, as were several other people we know who live in KW. I can assure you they're not getting paid, lmao. Organizers estimated approximately 500 people were there. They're angry, and for good reason.

cbear : I think that's just a Google search away, but I guess you can take your pick. The expansion of presidential power and the sidelining of institutions that might push back on him. Using the Justice Dept to go after his enemies, real or imagined. STILL peddling election denial nonsense, 4.5 years after the fact. Talk about mass deportations and detention camps. Snatching people off the street without due process. You may agree/disagree, but these are sincerely held views by many people.
Blazer92 : I have no problem with enforcing the border and no problem with deportation of illegal aliens who commit crimes. I do have a problem with Trump scuttling immigration reform twice (2017 and 2024, when he wasn't president but indicated he was against the compromise bill) in order to retain it as a wedge "us vs them" issue. He's not interested in long term, sustainable solutions. He's interested in theater.
