Awful. I'm so sorry. Y'all need to go to the police and file charges on those boys . Maybe then the parents will pay attention.

rocklady2024 : I will pray for your family and that this gets resolved quickly. Horrible thing to happen to your grandson and for your granddaughter to witness. My youngest daughter was bullied on the school bus in elementary school. Not to the extent of your grandson but bad enough for this mama to get the girl permanently removed off the bus. The bully was a student that our district picked up and took to our school and they met a bus that took them to the Catholic school in our district, so she didn't have to contend with her in school. Hopefully the school steps up and does the right thing and suspends this (or these) boys.

MaineLady: this is what we have done for 4 yrs and almost got caught last year so we decided to do it legally

In no way do I condone violence. When I was a little Golfshot. There was this Bully, he beat up everyone. One day before school he said after school when we were going to get off the bus it was going to be my turn. So, when I got on the bus to go to the bus stop. I sat upfront. He made fun of me the whole trip to the bus stop. He said look at him, he is going to run. I got off first sat my books down. Nobody left, they were all telling me to run. He was the last one to get off. As soon as his foot hit the ground I hit him so hard and then proceeded to give a good case of an *** woopin. He never bullied anyone again. I am not saying what I did was right and I got paddled at school and at home for it but that bully ran home crying all the way home. I was in the 4th or 5th grade. I repeat I do not condone violence but sometimes a bully needs to be put in his place. I think enrolling him and supporting him in Martial Arts would benefit him in so many ways.

I also like the idea of Home Schooling in addition to enrolling him in Martial Arts.

If this happened On the bus, it seems the driver would have/Should have known there was something going on. The noise, the kids up out of their seats, to be able to attack your grandson ( so awful!), and the driver Should be told to Stop the bus safely, and go back and address the issue. This would be for the safety of All of the kids on the bus. I would be in the principal's office to let the school know that 'my lawyer' ( even if I did not Have one, yet) would be getting involved, due to this Assault. This is bullying, but is also physical assault, and kids who Do this at a young age, go on to "bigger/ worse" things, and then end up in prison. I know you are livid, and sad for your grandson. This is Not a 'boys will be boys' kind of bs thing. I agree with getting in touch with one of the tv stations, to get them involved. Huge hugs for the kids, as it is traumatic. We can let them know that these bullies really Don't matter, but, at this age, it sure Feels like they 'do'. I am sure those of us here would be 'taking care of business' with our children, if Our kids were the one who bullied your grandson!

LittleTexas: my son was on speaker phone and he got everyone important from the school at the meeting this morning and the police were there . I'm so proud of how they handled everything . They were going to get the video of the bus and then do some investigating . The nurses and police took pictures of his bruises and they questioned Serenity . As for the bus driver nothing was decided .

golfshot: well national arts or not it was three bigger boys against 1 so thanks we will look into that
