Traveler500: When I first moved here, the garage on corner of Chesnut Ridge / Kingwood that advertised "Free Maps of Kingwood" but in fact charged me $2 for it - that map had the green belt trails on them, but... I've long since lost it. It also had photo of the old Kingwood sign at town entrance on front. But, you can go to maps.google.com and zoom in, and see the green belts on there, if this helps. 4951

Wow, looks like I missed some of the fireworks.  I think perhaps the "disorder" and mess at his house got the better of him.  Hope he gets some serious stress relief, soon, so the little things in life, like bikes, don't upset him so much. I do admit, however, that a slow moving bike during rush hour isn't the safest and smartest option, and the rider perhaps should have planned a little better.  4951

Traveler500: Lol, yes, walking wasn't too bad. Though it smelled pretty bad in there, it is getting better.  But I felt bad for granddaughter in the stroller, she had 3-4 mosquitoes on her legs, poor thing. 4951

The day after I moved here, I went for a 30 min jog on the greenbelt just to explore a bit.It did not end up being 30 mins, I got lost and ended up on a 2.5 hour walk.  Good times. 4951

buffaloglenn: Ha, good point, I haven't been lost since.  That did suck, it was very hot that day.  I didn't have a cell phone yet, didn't have a home phone number, and did not have my address committed to memory yet.  Every-time I popped out of the greenbelt into a neighborhood, I had no idea where I was.  I think I went around in circles a couple times, but I eventually got lucky and found my way home.  All exploring from then until I got familiar with the area was done on my bike. 4951
