Pest Control Companies?

In the KW area, who do you recommend using (or staying away from!) for pest control? My problem is spiders, and apparently now, mice/rats -- even though the home is only a couple of years old and I have a cat. The rodents are a new issue (I think), but the spiders seem unfazed by a couple of other pest control companies.

I have used Deerbrook Pest Control for years. Nice family business. They used to be my mother's neighbor. Always so kind.
Oh and I don't have a pest problems.

I would stay away from Barefoot Pest Control. Do not care for their scheduling since they just assign you an appointment.

Spiders are very hard to treat for because they literally have an extremely small footprint since their bodies never touch the ground, just the tiny bits of their "feet"so bug treatments don't really get absorbed into their bodies.

I have had a big uptick in spiders since my porch kitties arrived. They eat most of the lizards and frogs that help keep spiders populations at bay. I'd rather have the spiders than the rodents. We used to have small rodents that would activate my outdoor cameras and get into our car engines, but since my porch kitty population now sits at 5, I only get the kitties on my outside cameras and on top of my cars with an occasional visiting neighbor cat or two. My indoor kitties do find and eat some of the spiders and an occasional fly that may make its way inside. I think you just need more than one cat 😎 (I have 4 indoor cats).

I also use Arrow Pest Control to make sure my roach and termite free home stays that way. They use child and pet friendly treatments. Used them for years. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
