Gingerscouch : Are there any Peruvian restaurants in Houston that you recommend? Me, I've never had it.

I like Peru Cafe Express in Houston but it's an hour drive if there's no traffic, that's why I hope a place opens up locally.

My personal favoritesXalisco in woodlands is 🔥🔥🔥 ceviche tatemado is out of this world. Chef/owner was previously running Hugo Ortegas restaurantsCvché - Modern Peruvian comes at second Caracol - Not Peruvian but they have several different types to choose from

Xalisco is great! I haven't had ceviche but my corn tamale was an unexpected huge treat! Hugo's brunch is my fave in Houston.

Sisyphus : I like to be in the distance to hear it but not hear it as clearly as one does in the buffet line.

Latin Bites is a good one for peruvian food, and for the famous peruvian/japanese or also call Nikkei cuisine Paccha Nikkei is very good if you go try the Lomo Saltado there, for a "fast food" option try Chick Houz they have 3 locations in Houston, Humble and Tomball they have Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken, Pery Cafe Express, Lemon Tree in Katy recently they open one can't remmeber the name but I think is Daniel's By the way a Peruvian restaurant in Lima won the Best restaurant in the world Maido in 2023 was Central, I may be partial but Peru has the best food in the world and only in last few years is has been recognized worldwide thanks to fantastic chefs making this happen.

May not be far but the air ticket is not that cheap either, I go once a year and boy I enjoy the food, is amazing

No you are not, it is by far the best , treat yourself to Paccha Nikkei on Westheimer you won't regret it. The peruvian version of sashimi is Tiradito and is super good too.
