Since July's hurricane, I've noticed the trails in Sand Creek and Greentree looking horrible, an eye sore. I'm hoping the trail association will eventually clean it up but I am not sure.

Attend the SEGTA meeting and ask the 11 board members.
I understand that they spent in the area of $100,000 to get those trails to where they are today.

The benches are falling apart and rotting. That Trail system Is by far the largest in Kingwood.
If SE GTA Which is about half the size of the green tree/Sand Creek Trail system spent $100,000. I can't even imagine how much we spent on those trails.
I thought they did a great job in woodland hills and along Ben's branch. There are still fell tree but like
jonn said, those will rot and become fertilizer eventually and critter homes.
It was cleaned up for the most part after beryl but I hadn't walked in a while and noticed it today. They aren't just little trees they are big big trees! I will attend the next meeting
We were just talking about this yesterday on our walk. I think they spent their annual budget clearing and repairing the trails after the hurricane. That was quite the job and I for one really appreciated how quickly they were able to get the trails usable again.
It's been a huge hit to the budget in all the villages. I suggest attend a board meeting and ask what the plans are.
