Patches! Just got our temporary foster from Houston Beagle and H
Patches! Just got our temporary foster from Houston Beagle and Hound rescue and this little guy needs a home if anyone is looking to add to their family. He is 7, neutered, no known health issues, owner died in July and family couldn't take him. He is little so likely beagle mix? Not much taller than our chiweenie and weighs 15-20lb. He is very sweet!

sweetie : Me too-he seems to still be grieving and is a little shut down 😢
SandyKnee : His name is Patches and he hasn't made a peep. We picked him up from the rescue where 30 or so beagles are running free and he was quiet when they were all making noise.
SandyKnee : He is doing well with ours and has been at the Beagle Bungalow where they all run free. He did a little growl when our beagle wouldn't get out of his face and kept lunging at him but otherwise he is doing well with every one. We just got him home an hour ago so he is still decompressing and getting use to another new place

Miro2019 Was he close to his owner? I agree that he might be grieving. How can he possibly understand what's going on? Or maybe he does and it makes him sad.

Picasso13 : You can tell he was very much a companion animal. He got super happy when DH picked him up and was carrying him. He has already made friends at Furbabies and Pet Ranch.
Picasso13 : If I knew how I could have put some sticker or emoji over his stuff I guess 😂. We have 2 boy dogs so those are just part of daily life here
