Pappas BBQ, Closed For a Year!

I have never been to Papas BBQ... I did go to Luther's BBQ before Papas took over that location.

I was there in March. I used to love their chopped beef sandwiches, back when it was Luther's, but the one I got then was terrible. I don't think pappas and bar b-q are a good fit. Though it is always busy when I drive by.

Pappas has a lot of different restaurants throughout Houston. I'm sure they will offer the employees who worked there jobs at their other locations.

Some of them could go to the Pappasitos across the street. Every time I have been there the girls were all moving fast and looked like they were overworked. But they all kept smiling no matter how much they had to run.

Do not know about the turkey, but the spud at Jason's will fill you up.

We eat there ever so often. They have the best fried catfish. Better than Pappas Seafood.

We drove by it last night; the exterior walls are being torn down. I'm in agreement that Luther's was better.

I remember when it was Luther's and we enjoyed the BBQ there, too. We only went to Pappas for BBQ once or twice while it was there.
