Annie : Noooooooo lol. My neurosurgeon said it could paralyze me. I have way too much titanium in my neck.

Chow : I take anxiety meds & I get drug tested. I love me some 💚💚💚💚 but meds for my anxiety are much more important. I can't function when my anxiety is not regulated. 😥

I am so sorry you are dealing with such pain in addition to your caregiving responsibilities. Praying for relief in both situations.

Wiseowl : I wish. 💔 She doesn't have the funds for that & we certainly don't. It's been a tough couple of years for us financially. When my father in law was here, his nurse was $125 for 2 hours and that was 7 years ago. 😳The biggest thing I need help with is bathing her but no one will help because our bathroom set up is so dangerous for someone with her mobility issues. We've exhausted ALL construction possibilities in our bathrooms. (Literally AND financially) They just aren't conducive to her needs so we have to make do. It's not good. Every nurse that has seen our set up - and what I have to do to get her in & out - basically responds with "That's a liability I will not touch" She's one trip away from snapping her knee & then she'll be bedridden. Our walk in shower has a quarter inch lip & even that is too tall for her to step over so I practically have to put her on my back like a turtle to get her in & out. 🤦‍♀️ My neck just loves that. 🙄I'm exhausted. My husband is exhausted.Our kid is exhausted. But we're stuck in this situation. ❗️ Words of advice to everyone - don't do this to your kids. Have a plan for these years because this isn't fair to us....or her.

I have not had a wait that long. Sorry you have. The doctor was angry with me after I had back surgery , threatened to not treat me. My husband was with me and just told her that her job was to help me control pain until I could move again. O

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I lived with my mom when she had spinal pain. It's awful.
