Humble ISD doesn't get enough money from its area as it is (benefits from the States Robin Hood Law)…….
Texas doesn't lead the Nation in Education nor does it lead the Nation in School Spending per student
If you've paid for 50 years. Your now benefititing from all the 65yr old tax exemptions

Yep. I think these massive stadiums with the Jumbotrons etc. and schools seemingly trying to always be bigger and better with their facilities is what makes people upset about paying these high school taxes.

sheltielover : It is upsetting, but voters actually pass the bonds that are specifically for things like stadiums. If voters don't want to pay taxes that service those bonds, they shouldn't approve the school bonds in the first place.
