Oh no, not good to hear so early on. Praying power stays on for our community.
That's a pretty small number. I dislike CNP as much as the next person but I think this is just "normal Saturday" level outages....

I will be very shocked it we don't lose power this weekend with the cold weather.

Yes indeed. I remember in 1994 it iced the trees and I lost power and it was so cold in my house.

Outages already tracker.centerpointe nergy.com/map/texas? location=eyJ2aWV3Ijp 7ImxhdGl0dWRlIj Centerpoint strikes again
Yikes! What a thing to wake up to!!!!

Yes, I remember that one, and it was fairly late February! We woke up at 2:00 am to the sound of branches cracking and falling. Because it was so quiet it sounded like they were all in our yard, but thankfully they were mostly throughout the neighborhood. We had small pine trees bent over until they almost touched the ground from the weight of the ice.
It's not a matter if the power goes out but when it goes out and how long it's out for . Ugh

cbear UptownGirl ForestFinds Donnawisdom : This graph shows hourly outages for Centerpoint since January 1, through this morning at 8 AM. As you can see - the current number of outages is nothing to worry about.
