sellbuy : Dh also took Evenity for one year and his doctor urged he then take Prolia Like you, he read up on Prolia and said, "No." Those Prolia sales people must be really good with sales pitches to doctors. So he is now on Reclast. which I think is a once-a-year injection. No problems so far . . .

The Prolia injections are $1,800 each, before insurance. Mine was $900 after insurance.

Yes, the Reclast is a once a year infusion. Good to hear he he did well on it. Some people experience no side effects, others report varying degrees of pain - muscle aches and deep bone pain. I had that for 4-5 days after my infusion. Hydrating well for days before the infusion is key. I also took a Claritin and had a schedule of Tylenol the day before and for 4 days after. Also you can ask the Dr to order a saline push before and after the infusion. And order the infusion to be slow!
