Has any one heard if KHS is in a lock down right now? I am being

Mine has left campus. He was barricaded in his classroom and I was getting messages from him. (His texts weren't working-thank God for Instagram messaging.) I have never felt so helpless. Just got an email from KHS that student was detained and no weapon was found. They have been given the all clear. Email said you could check out kids using approved methods-mine has left campus and I have sent an email to attendance.

News says 2 students fighting and one threatened to shoot the other. Students heard this and alerted parents who then called police. Student detained -- no gun and no threat to others. Amazing how this story morphed into multiple people/ multiple assault weapons and multiple campuses. In the age of instant communication, we still see the stories change

@dsuarez91 : I just left the front of the school, I was able to talk to a police officer, and he said the school was on lockdown, but it has since been lifted that everything is OK, the school is crawling with cameramen and police officers

I see this is all old news, I literally just found out, apparently they have released the kids early because school is out

jrjtex : I'm sorry! I'm glad your little is being picked up. I do think it is a good idea to put all the schools close to the incident on lockdown. With all these kids having cell phones it would get out whether it is silent or not. The older sibling might message the younger sibling and then everyone would know.
