ZMAN : Yes - in reading about the various corpses found, it's a mix of men and women, all over Houston (one of the largest metropolitan cities by land mass in the entire country) and some were even witnessed entering the water, presumably to swim but weren't good enough swimmers, apparently.

Agreed, let's not get carried away with Netflix fantasies. To be a serial killer, one must meet a rather specific rubric: multiple murders, separate events, cooling-off periods, and this is important, a discernible pattern. Motive. Method. Madness. A signature, if you will.Now, these unfortunate souls turning up in Houston's bayous? No signs of trauma, no confirmed foul play, no connective tissue beyond geography and morbid timing. Authorities say the deaths are varied - some likely accidents, others still under investigation. But a pattern? A killer? Not yet. Not by the FBI's standards. So for now… it's tragedy, not terror. But if that changes? Well, then things get interesting.

I don't think the six people found in the Bayou died from an accident.

I find it interesting that they're withholding the racial, gender, and age , and manner of death of the victims.

When I was young, we lived in a house that backed up to Buffalo Bayou with Memorial Park on the other side. There was always sketchy stuff going on in those woods of Memorial park. I'm not surprised at all about the bodies. Maybe someone is just looking now.
